Swapt meet.... this has been revised..

There is another swapt meet in Indapendence mo the weekend of the 15th. we are thinking about riding sat morning the 16th down to indapendence, party staying the night go to the meet sun morning and then come home. For the people that dont want to stay can come sun morning meet up with us and leave togeather after the meet and for thoes who want to drive let me know maybe some can car pool. I will need a count of people that are going so i can get rooms. If you want your own room ill give you the number and you can call your self and if you want to share a room to save on cost let me know i dont care how many people want to stay in the room im getting. I would like to have a head count on the for sure people buy mon the 11th and any one else who is last min is last min. Thanks and suck it.

sun is a swapt meet at the loading dock in alton ill. I think it starts at 10 unless it is the earley bird which is at 8. I dont know if i will be going because i have to work sun night but if your wanting to go just make a call or text me or write a comment on this blog...

The "PLUM" is whole again!

Well today we finished putting phils bike back together went pretty smooth, fired it up this afternoon good times. All and all a good sunday people stopped by through out the day and hung out and helped, so good shit. Thanks to everybody that came by and helped and hung out it was definitely a fun sunday.

The meeting fot this month is not going to really be a formal meeting we are going to be working on phils bike tomorrow at steve's house so if you want to swing by and hang out thats cool we can shoot the breeze after we get done with phil's bike so if anybody is interested let me know if you need directions i will get them to you.

Something interesting

I found this picture on one of the many blogs that I look at on a daily basis and thought it would be interesting to share with everybody. If you didnt know yes west coast choppers shut down last year and Jesse James sent this pic. out yesterday on twitter of them removing the sign off of the top of his old shop in Long Beach. I have been to that shop many years ago and it as a hell of a place to see in person and to check out the craftmanship of the bikes they put out.  It is pretty sad to see the place shut down but I guess in the economy we live in now not to many people can afford $60k motorcycles. Just thought I would share it with everybody.

Well tomorrow it will be done we are going to put "The Plum" back together Bobby got the heads done last night so now we can slap her back togther and Phil will be one happy boy.

The "plum" as chris calls it is going to be put back together tonight cant wait. Hopefully i can ride it his weekend a bit before we have another 6months of fucken winter. guess ill just put chains on the tires hahah. I ride in the rain, why not the snow.

One hell of a bike!

I saw this bike on the church of choppers blog and I believe it's phils bike from a different life

Got a new bike. Well an old bike. 1989 Harley Davidson FXST Softail Custom. 1340 EVO 5 Speed with 12K Miles on here. Here is how she looked when I brought her home. Only problem I have had with her is the (I presume) float is sticking in the carb and if she sits, not running, with the fuel turned on, she floods and leaves a spot. Easy fix. Already put a heritage rear fender on her and removed the sissy bar and turn signals. Looking for 16" apes, cables, floor boards, lowering rear shocks, tombstone taillight, standard risers (currently have pull backs) and possibly a seat. Not a bad buy at $5500.

Took my bike over to steeves house last night to get taken apart and fixed.. just hope forest fucken gump dosent have it torn down and spred out on the lawn befor he has a chance to teach me something.. hahaha god damnit c, you some kind of god damn genius? why did you take that bike apart so fast? because you told me to sir...that must be some kind of record..

Tonights Bike Was A Bust

Still looking for big twin or evo softail for around $5k. Willing to travel. Tonights 1998 Softail Springer with a clear title turned out to be a 1988 DR bike with a standard front end that wouldn't start that also didn't have a title. But at least I got to see Phil.
